The VCP/R ("Virtual Cassette Player/Recorder") is a tool for the capture and playback of video segments
from the WORMTUBE Archive.
RECORDING
To record a new video, first make sure the ARCHIVE source is selected under SOURCE SELECT.
Choose a new blank cassette or a previously recorded cassette from the Library to overwrite.
Drag the cassette you want to record on into the VCR at the left of the console.
Use the REC button to start and stop recording.
Once recording is stopped, the new video is added to the Library.
NOTE: The VCR function is not compatible with the SCAN feature. To prevent recording errors,
SCAN mode is automatically disabled when cassette recording is started. SCAN mode may be re-enabled after
recording is finished (see SCAN documentation for details).
PLAYBACK
Select up to two cassettes from the Library for simultaneous playback in VCPs A and B at the right of the console.
